I have had students not know what a hyperlink is without prompts. Any suggestions? These could be students who are returning and/or older or students without computer engagement backgrounds.

I had the same issues with some students not knowing to click on the hyperlink

Philip, I think that’s an important reminder that we can’t take for granted that knowledge. The slightly scary thing is when you see they don’t know that, you also know that probably there are many other technical things that may throw them. Patience and providing clear instructions (including a course navigation video) is great, but also making sure that such students know where to turn for tech support (NOT you) is important.
