For your own screen space, you can click the three lines next to the course title to hide the nav bar. But that doesn't affect student view.

I know how to view "access logs" for individual students, but is there a quick way to see which students have viewed a particular PAGE or FILE? Rather than looking at each student's access log individually.

In the gradebook, once the due date is pasted, zero is placed as default, what if I don't want that default grade until I assign a grade?

To ensure students don't see published items in published modules, you'd also need to ensure you don't have Pages, Assignments, Quizzes, Discussions, etc available on the course menu, correct?

Yes, I learned quite a few things. Some I implemented already. Thank you. I sure wish though, that we could compose one announcement/one email and have it go to all classes. That is the only thing I miss from the Blackboard days. This was a great workshop!

Regina, if you mean a place to find answers about Canvas questions, the Canvas guides are great. You can click the Tech Help button at bottom left of the Canvas global menu to get the link (as well as the Canvas 24-7 hotline number)

For an individual assignment in the gradebook, we used to be able to "view statistics" for that assignment. (using the right pull-down menu for the individual item). It seemed like that option went away (or perhaps it moved?) last semester -- any advice? I wasn't sure if there's a setting I need to adjust.

Here are directions for Respondus. You have to download the exam as QTI from Canvas, then import that to Respondus and you can print.

We have respondus software available for faculty. That is the cleanest way to print a test, however not the fastest.
