I like this. Do you need a green screen in the background?

20:53
How are you moving yourself? Is that an add-in App to Zoom?

21:27
TY!

This is so cool!

22:12
I’m impressed, didn’t know Zoom had improved so much!

23:22
I am excited to use this!!

Great! Thank you.

Youtube does a good job of creating a transcript and you’re able to edit as well.

37:15
Thank you. :)

43:26
I've tried to centralize everything on Canvas on the Home page via a google doc syllabus - students tend to like this because they don't have to click through many different pages, and neither do I!

46:22
Shafin, one thing to add, too (not sure if you said you did this or not) is to put the exam dates in the Canvas calendar - students tend to go there first to look at when things are due/coming up

50:18
^^ Thank you

51:27
Oh yes, they are in Canvas Calendar, in the Assignments tab, in the Syllabus, in the Announcements, emailed to them as a group, emailed to them individually, and also right smack in the Homepage - did I say 7 ways?

51:41
I wanted to add that I think it is also important to note that each student may have 4-5 different Canvas courses. Each canvas course with a different method of navigation and different rules of engagement. Using tools that push information to students like announcements and the calendar can be helpful for those students that are getting overwhelmed with the different types of content to access.

52:30
Great suggestions, Aaron and Daniel - thank you. :)

53:13
Students sometimes don't likt it at first, but I close all the sidebar navigation from "Home" - my Home page is brief, but also literally links to everything else for the course. It scares students at first, but they grow to like the simplicity

53:21
except "Home"*

53:56
Daniel, I also take away most of the sidebar (just leave Home, Syllabus, Announcements) so they can’t get lost!

59:23
You can link to, say, an assignment on your Home page, without the "Assignments" tab being visible - I embed all the links to "Assignments" in my syllabus

01:01:09
I have used modules without the sidebar link

01:01:29
Pages, assignments, discussions, quizzes all have worked for me without sidebar links

01:01:32
+1 what Daniel writes.
