^ This is a Canvas Commons resource. You’ll want to import it into a Sandbox course if you’d like to take advantage of the resources Emiko is sharing there.

If you do not have a Sandbox course in Canvas to work with, you can email Karen Turpin to request one. kturpin@miracosta.edu

It’s a little thing, but even just you showing that copying the color code really helped! I always end up with slightly different colors!

43:38
Aaron, another amazing tool to help with that is a browser extension called “Eye Dropper” - it allows you to grab the exact color code from any point on any web page

44:12
I used to end up with different colors until I learned to copy the color code.

I love this Lisa, I’ve gotten a lot of my content onto the actual assignment page over the last year. It’s smoother for all of us in some ways, but still a work in progress

53:58
Here’s a link to learn more about the Perusall social annotation tool: https://tic.miracosta.edu/perusall/

54:18
As Lisa said, MiraCosta just licensed this for all faculty and students to use.

54:56
Lisa did an amazing job creating the instructions for us on the https://tic.miracosta.edu/perusall/ page

What I love about everything shared today is that it is ultimately meeting students where they are (be it abilities, attention, wants/needs) rather than fighting it because we want it a certain way

Thank you 🙂

If you create your own ZTC materials using Google slides so that changes or updates do so everywhere, the accessibility checker for slides is an add-on called Grackle.

Thanks, everyone!
